Welcome

If you would like to add to the wiki, or edit existing articles, you are most welcome. Feel free to make minor corrections, or author complete articles.

To get started, please request an account. To do this simply send an email to the DIY FAQ maintainer (editor at diyfaq dot org dot uk) with your real name, and a preferred username, plus a working email address. The maintainer will then create the account for you, and email you the password. You can then login and get started!

You can also post account requests directly to the uk.d-i-y newsgroup, where most of the wiki admins normally lurk! (if doing this please obfuscate your email address such that the admin will know what you mean, but the spam harvesting bots won't!)

Once your account request has been received, it will usually be processed within a few hours.
