This is true for most things on here atm. Copyright and capitalisation seem to be our only policies / de facto conventions so far. We use wikimedia software, but that does not imply we automatically follow wikipedia's policies. Some of their policies should suit us, and some really wont, as our experience and issues here are not the same as wikipedia's.

Do you have a guideine in mind? Or shall we wait and see when one looks like its needed? I suspect only then will we know what is needed, unless you have more experience with wikis than I. NT 10:11, 22 April 2007 (BST)

I don't have anything in mind: I just saw the red link and followed it and put in something to say that at least someone's been here and considered the issue. Looks a bit weenie having a set up where things that obviously should have been customised haven't been, to my mind - a bit like websites where you get some text the site designer has put in telling the client "put in your company details here"!

As for what poilicy we should have, I think wait and then suck it & see. I think on wikipedia pages are protected when contributors get into edit wars. Since there's only the two of us here atm and we've both got got admin privs there's not much point!
