: I am guessing they may well do standalone, and a "combined with a MCB" type. Possibly even a combined with a RCBO type, which would probably be the most useful. Schneider do things for the US like [https://www.amazon.co.uk/SCHNEIDER-ELECTRIC-Single-Pole-Circuit-Breaker/dp/B004Z4XAOK this] that appear to contain a MCB and the AFDD.

How are they installed?

Are the functions of a fuse and/or an RCD included in an AFCI/AFDD, or are the two forms of protection to be provided separately? I think the article should cover this, briefly. John Stockton (talk) 18:47, 11 September 2016 (BST)

I am guessing they may well do standalone, and a "combined with a MCB" type. Possibly even a combined with a RCBO type, which would probably be the most useful. Schneider do things for the US like this that appear to contain a MCB and the AFDD.
