Hot Water

For sink blockages involving fat, it might be possible to work a thin flexible pipe towards the blockage and use it to deliver a flow of hot water to where it is most needed. John Stockton (talk) 12:11, 19 October 2015 (BST)

Suction

A neighbour recently had a sink outlet blockage. A plumber used an industrial-strength vacuum cleaner to suck it clear in moments - mostly rice and fat. It might be worth trying a domestic wet/dry vacuum cleaner, such as can be seen at http://www.walmart.com/c/kp/wet-dry-vacuum-cleaners and other sites found by a search engine.
