just to add my 2p ... the 2-way leads are also available in 3 and 4 way - RS and Farnell are good sources.

Also, the extension lead blocks are available in IEC form (like the little 3-pin socket on a PC power supply) which are much smaller than the full-size 13A plug/socket arrangement - but only useful if you have several things with IEC connections.

Using PC's PSU

I plan to change your input on this if you've no objection. I've run various things off PCs and audio signals dont get noisy IME. The only time a problem has occurred is when the supply ground was not connected at all, leaving the signal lead to act as ground, and even then it worked fine, just not quite perfectly. Fairy Nuff. I was just going by my experience running a CD diskman off the same PSU as a radio (with line input). Might be worth keeping the text as suggesting suck it and see first before wiring anything up neatly, in case there's a problem. What stuff have you run off the PC btw? You've got me thinking about my active speakers as well as obviously the router box.
