I do think its relevant and significant to note toolstations goods are of significantly lower quality than screwfix's on average, though the comment was removed. Their range is also smaller, and these factors make a big difference to the relative usefulness of the 2 companies.

(Reply) I removed the comment. There was no objective evidence presented for the assertion that TS's stuff is of "significantly lower quality" than SFX's so it would appear to be one person's point of view. Personally, having spent £1000s with both Toolstation and Screwfix, I don't find that to be the case. Some of their stuff is crap, but so is some of Screwfix's and the same is true of just about every supplier I've ever dealt with. I also find some of their stuff to be of very high quality and outstanding value for money.

If you want to add a general comment applicable to all catalogue-type suppliers that the quality of their stuff may vary across their ranges that would seem appropriate, but I don't think it helps to single out Toolstation.
